The Story of BoB
Hi! My name is Katie. I live in Cottage Grove, MN with my husband and 3 little boys. We love to enjoy all the nature and adventure Minnesota has to offer. I have always loved planning events, even occasionally joking with my husband about getting married again so I could plan another wedding. Instead I channeled all that energy into some killer birthday parties for my kiddos. So in April 2021, when I was asked by a friend to help her plan her wedding, I eagerly accepted.
As we embarked on the wedding planning journey together, I was quickly reminded how expensive weddings are; even DIY or buying used, the money adds up quickly! Not to mention the time investment as well. I decided to start Borrowed or Blue to provide an affordable option for people to have when it came to wedding and event decor.
My hope is for it be a simple and cost effective solution for Brides, Grooms and anyone planning an event. I hope to hear from you soon!
